Borderlands 2 – Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax | Review By Gambit
From what we’re told, “Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax” is the final piece of DLC that we’ll be seeing for Borderlands 2 which is a huge bummer for me… But, considering the fact that this game has been out for a year and a half I guess it had to end sometime. This game has gotten more support than any other that I can think of.
Anyway, “Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax” was awesome, simply put. Again, this wasn’t the biggest of DLCs but it was fairly large and used the area it had quite well. The missions felt fresh and, as usual, they threw some new enemies at us making it that much more challenging (Granted, we were playing at level 72 UVH mode). When all was said and done this was an awesome $3 purchase. Some of the best moments were in the display chatter between Maya and Mordecai (some highly amusing talk about the original Crawmerax from the first Borderlands).
As far as The Son Of Crawmerax was concerned… Holy hell, man. He threw us a beating. Make sure you keep outside of his attack zone. One hit kills are only fun if you’re the one doing them. All and all this was a great, challenging DLC with a lot of fun moments. Highly recommended. I’m going for 4.5 out of 5 for this one! Game on my friends!
